We travelled to Santorini on the 26th August and stayed for a week at the Acqua Vatos Hotel and booked the hotel via booking.com. I couldn’t fault this hotel one bit. The hotel itself is lovely, the location is great and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival the member of staff working warmly welcomed us and carried our cases to our rooms. The room itself was fairly spacious with room to hang your clothes and also a set of drawers. Bathroom was clean, towels were replenished every day and toilet paper when necessary. Small shower gels and shampooing items were already in the bathroom as well as a hair dryer. The decor of the hotel is modern and quite quirky. The pool area has comfortable sun loungers and a small bar where you can buy light snacks and drinks for a decent price. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the cooked food was never the same ranging from scrambled/fried eggs and homemade Greek food (sweet and savoury) – it was delicious! Unlimited tea/coffee as well as juice and water. They also have cereals, pastries, bread and fruit. Every member of staff that I encountered there were friendly and always there to help if you needed them. Location at this hotel is excellent. Outside the hotel is a busy main road where there’s shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. There’s a bus stop just steps from the hotel that can take you to Fira and once there you can change to go to Oía – I would highly recommend you visit both places as they’re both so beautiful. The beach is a short walk down the road where you’ll find other restaurants/bars on the sea front.I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Kamari/Santorini, if I were to go to again I’d definitely stay here.
